My name is David Diosdado, a reliable and creative mexican devigner who sees design as a form of aesthetic expression and a powerful marketing weapon, but mainly as a means to enhance everyday life and become an experience itself. I love mexican food, the music of Autechre and the paintings of Johannes Vermeer.

WEB DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN

Note: These projects were made for Digiworks. Almost all were designed and developed entirely by myself except where noted.

  • Mitsubishi Montero

    The only thing that wasn't made by me in this website is the wagon, which was modeled by Digiworks’ 3D modeling team. An interesting thing in the development of this micro-site is the FLV sequence manager, which loads the videos in the background without interrupting the user’s experience.

  • Zynchro

    I designed and developed the entire micro-site. I made a set of colorful icons that would give the reminiscence of a desktop application and would make the process of understanding how the system works really easy.

  • General Motors

    The client requested an exact copy of the American General Motors brandsite for the Mexican brandsite. I developed a template from scratch using CSS and XHTML strict, and used some Flash for the dropdown menus and for the "Todos los vehículos" section. The site was completed by other members of the team using table layouts.

  • Pineda Covalin

    Developed the frontend with the look and feel provided by the designers of Pineda Covalin. This web site is completely managed via XML files.

I'm eager to incorporate new techniques and processes that will improve productivity by using state-of-the-art technologies.

I'm always trying to broaden my set of tools and capabilities by learning new programming languages, using diverse specialized software and polishing traditional representation techniques.

I love programming, I love industrial, graphic and web design, and I love visual arts. I dedicate the time and energy needed to excel in these fields.

I have a degree in Industrial Design by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, I'm also trained in the field of visual arts by the prestigious Academia de San Carlos art school.
